Adult Christian Formation

Our Adult ministries has various ministry opportunities within the local congregation for growth and education. Our Discipleship Team's mission is to foster these opportunities. We have more than 15 groups in addition to our Sunday morning Adult Sunday School classes which meet in the community on a regular basis to provide Bible study, and fellowship.

Call the Church Office-(215) 646-4129 for locations and further INFO

Small Groups

Under the advisement of the Jarrettown’s newly formed Christian Formation Team, the focus this Fall will not be on one, all-Church small group study, a one-size-fits-all large scale approach to small group ministry. Instead our goal is to resource, support and to build participation in different studies that meet individual needs and/or speak to different age groups.

Our prayer is that every member will go the extra mile and spend the extra hour each week in small group study. Whether you commit to a W.O.W. study, join one of the small groups that are now forming, or create a small group to fit your own needs as a Christian single, woman, parent lay leader… possibilities are popping up all over!

Coming Soon: The 28-week Foundation Experience you’ve been waiting for! Companions in Christ: A Small Group Experience in Spiritual Formation

This extraordinary resource, published by Upper Room Ministries, was created by a team of individuals who shared a common vision. They most graciously contributed their
knowledge and experience to develop a small-group resource that would creatively engage persons in a journey of spiritual growth and discovery.
Now that we have just the right resource, we are praying for just the right leader/s
to take our members on this journey of spiritual growth and discovery. Our hope is to offer this Foundation Experience Formation on Sunday mornings, as well as mid-week.

Youth

10:46 am Sunday - Confirmation Class

11:00 am Sunday - Middle School and High School

The two Youth Sunday School classes meet at 11:00 am in the Ark. The Middle School group is 6th-8th graders, while the High School group is all 9th-12th graders. The Sunday School is a place for the youth to develop their faith as they struggle with the questions in their lives. Through study of the Bible, group discussion, and an application of the material to their own lives, the youth explore what it means to be a Christian.
